Alright, watched it today. I quite liked it, but it’s not perfect. /tv/’s criticism was pretty spot-on even though I think it was a bit harsh: the content is pretty solid, but it’s not terribly coherent as a movie. Really, it feels a lot like 2-3 unrelated episodes were spliced together. It gets a little better toward the end, but the beginning’s pretty ‘lol, so randum’ feeling.

Bender pretty much stole the show in the first section, up until he ended up in the mental institution (that bit felt a lot like it was just stalling for time for a while). And I’m never disappointed by the staff’s continuity nods (like how last time it bothered me that they ignored that Nibbler was talking and didn’t get brainwiped again and they mentioned it this time). Overall it was quite entertaining and really felt like the old show–but two episodes smashed haphazardly together.

Also, somehow I got to thinking that Ribbons would look really hot in Mom’s outfit and produced this monstrosity as a result–I wish I could blame /m/ for this, but it’s all the result of my own deranged imagination this time, how appropriate:

Naturally, Hilling is Igner–and speaking of whom, Igner was awesome in the movie.
