Preview of the new OP is out (it’s just overlaid on OP3’s animation): http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5562061
[EDIT V] OH WHATS THIS? ANOTHER EDIT?
The nico link doesn’t have the whole song apparently, get it here: http://files.or.tp/dl.php?f=up11508.mp3
[EDIT IV]
Shitty quick translation of the lyrics:
Sitting down in the damp moonlight
In the city of rain, the lamplight continues to burn
Living on, with just that alone
Because I don’t care about what sort of reason there is
My heart, my story
The brilliance that can be seen beyond the tears
In a tiny window, like back then, the blue sky is reflected
Ah, but I can’t fly like a bird
Don’t force a smile, things are fine the way they are
Just continue believing
The brilliance that can be seen beyond the tears
If you plunge into the darkness, that sky will surely be transformed by the seven colors
When someone is saddened, they feel pain
So that I wouldn’t forget, I softly closed my eyes and wept
[EDIT]
And have some Garazzo since this post is short and plain:
[EDIT II]
I just feel the need to comment that lately I’ve been quite amazed at how some of /m/ and 2ch’s 00 discussions seem to mirror eachother pretty closely and yet the discrepency between discussiong on /m/ and other English-language discussion boards (*cough*animesuki*cough* for the record I only check over there for scans/spoilers and if I get an incoming link pop up on my stat panel) is quite, amazing. Found this gem today:
Have all of those in favor of the “sexless” argument completely forgotten how mentally unstable people with missing chromosomes become? They have to have a gender, otherwise you have mentally retarded 8 people, six of which are pulling the strings behind the entire world, another in charge of medical regeneration, and the eighth in a freaking Gundam. Yet these eight people are mentally stable without any mental disorders that we can see, and despite what people claim, they are biological and thus human.
SCIENCE :D
[EDIT III]
OH GOD SOMEONE TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME. I CANT STOP READING THIS SHIT, ITS SO BAD (lol, derailing my own post):
I’m a bit confused here, i mean just a few days ago we had a discussion (not sure which thread) and people agreed what Regene said had to do with altering their DNA.You misunderstood. The person was referring to telomere loss being the cause of aging, and how it would be possible for Innovators to prevent that. That’s not the same as altering DNA.
{…}
But as I said before, Tieria is officially a “bishounen” (term used for males) while Anew a “bijin” (term used for females). While official material tends to change, for now anyway, those are officially their sexes.
So many brilliant minds in one place, I’m in awe.
[EDIT IV] Ctd. Moon lyrics (I left out the first stanza in my translation because translating lyrics is hard and I’m lazy and it wasn’t in the cut that’s out):

I’m not sure how to feel about it…
Thanks for the link!

….sort of want. I admit my first response was “I CAN’T FAP TO THIS”.

It’s catchy. I’ll reserve proper judgment until the OP actually comes out, but I still maintain that a Chiaki Ishikawa OP would’ve been awwwwesome. Thanks for the link and the Garazzo pic! Makes me further anticipate Hilling’s new GNZ-line MS. Mmmmm.

Beam claws ftw…. please last as long as possible Garazzo-sama *_*
The new OP doesn’t sound like an OP for a robot anime, tbh I expect a song even more upbeat than their other single, Hitohira Hanabira. But we’ll see whether the animation works with it or not.

So, umm. I’m no science major, but the person in quote #1 seems to be working on the assumptions that:
1. Innovators are normal humans grown through “normal” means (which they’re not; they are miserable piles of nanomachines), and
2. Chromosomes MUST be eliminated in order to create a being without reproductive organs. And again, the key word here is CREATE. They are ARTIFICIAL HUMANS made from scraps and nanomachines in a cave.

@hohoho: Yeah, pretty much. In addition to the idea that most sex-chromosome abnormalities = mental retardation, which isn’t usually the case (in the cases of having more or less sex chromosomes than you’re supposed to have that I can think of off the top of my head the result is usually sterility not retardation).
I’m honestly more appalled that no one who replied to that post even thought to correct their SCIENCE.

Haha. Well, that’s animesuki for you.

I think the song’s okay. We’ll have to see what the animation that goes with it is like. It sounds…cheerful, compared to the other female vocal OP we had (i.e. Ash Like Snow). XD;;
