Some stuff from an interview from some magazine called Great Mechanic DX7 via 2ch:
According to Great Mechanic DX7:
1) Talk between Chiba and Teraoka
- If the capabilities of the Gundams from four years ago was 100, then their successors, aside from the 00, are 150 and the Ahead is about 140.
- Because the entire world under surveillance by an observation satellite, Ptolemy had to shift about underwater. When they went out into the sky the top-side was disguised with optical camouflage.
- Kuroda likes gimicks. In the second season, a lot of them came out quickly.
- The A-LAWS are an elite force. They don’t have more than 100 GN-Xs and Aheads all together.
- 90% of the world is peaceful. We’ve been focusing on the middle east, but in other areas there is no conflict.2) The Federation’s public relations policy
The world of the second season is a super-regulated society because the Federation government strictly controls thoughts and information, even though people are living it’s become a very narrow world. Why doesn’t CB blame such an awful group while saying that the A-LAWS are evil over and over? That’s because acting on a personal grudge is useless.

> – 90% of the world is peaceful. We’ve been focusing on the middle east, but in other areas there is no conflict.
That. is. amazing.
That is insane.
and CB is standing up against Federation/A-Laws?! It makes me wonder why it didn’t target Katharon as an enemy instead for “disrupting the peace” This is total making the mission personal! Targeting the evolved form of your “enemy” instead of the basic form >_> though I suppose CB acts on the “war is better than some forms of peace” principle. or “foundation for a TRUE peace” or something.
They’ve changed since s1, but still create an infinite loop. :x well, such utopia vs dystopia is a staple of Sci-Fi.
/heartless rant. needs more Innovator concept talk.

“90% of the world is peaceful. We’ve been focusing on the middle east, but in other areas there is no conflict.”
“Why doesn’t CB blame such an awful group while saying that the A-LAWS are evil over and over? That’s because acting on a personal grudge is useless.”
CB came to create peace?
It sounds more like we are here that the wars would last longer.

I agree with the two above replies. We WISH we could have a peaceful world like that, and now CB want to eff it all up just to satisfy some twisted idealism and selfish grudge? I can’t believe anyone in their right minds would support CB as it currently is.
They’re a bunch of nutters, and I hope they get owned by A-Laws, who might well be the lesser of the two evils despite their incredible dickery.

Um,they want to destroy A-LAWS.Not the Federation, they themselves have mentioned this in one of the first 10 episodes.
And they’re not the only ones to,A-LAWS have done some crazy thingss since then as well.
