I’m bored and have nothing better to do with the ~2 hours before class today, SO, a nice point-by-point prediction/theory rundown so there’s one nice place for me to point at and be all LOOK I TOTALLY CALLED IT or for other people to go “lol, look at how dumb GH was for thinking X would happen ECKS DEE”
Section I: 75%+ probability rated events:
• Anew is gonna be the one in the “new unit” in 20; she’ll leave Ptolemy sometime during 19
• GN particle spam will affect Innovator pairs in some way
• Wang dies or is incapacitated before getting the Veda location to Ptolemy. The message in 21 is not from Wang.
• Tieria doesn’t attempt a proper Veda reconnect until 21.
• IF Ptolemy captures an Innovator, it’ll be Hilling. But I’m giving it 50% chance they won’t even get that far next week.
Section II: ~50% probability rated events:
• REGENE–TIERIA BODYSWAP AWWWRRRIIIGGHTTTT
—-Event is GN particle spam induced
—-Event is temporary
—-Possible implications for Anew and Revive?
• IF Hal resurfaces again, it will be temporary and probably internal (i.e. he won’t be assuming full control of Al and raping shit, but he might wake up to have a chat with Al about Somarie)
• No proper Bushido fight until… 22 at the earliest.
• Anew dies in 20. The sad part of INNOVATOR plays in the background.
Hmm… I thought I had more than that. Well, I might add to this again before Sunday.
I don’t think Anew will die. If they do that then Lyle has no more reason to live, unless the want to insert a Katharon backstory 5 episodes near the end. Honestly though, it’d render them both useless and people going “WTF What was that all about?!”.

Though to be perfectly honest, a lot of this stuff is just my being swayed by crazy spoiler guy since some of his stuff was spot on earlier this month and in the same post ANEW DIES is all over it (well every post of his just about has that since everyone always asks about it). :<

I really don’t see them killing Anew. Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t seem to fit with the way they’re building up the drama here.

Anew dying would be fairly pointless aside from making Lyle very angry indeed.
Say she does remember (or find out, or whatever) she’s an Innovator next episode. She wouldn’t have the slightest doubts at all? Trot off to join her bishie twin and betray her friends and Lyle despite learning from everyone that Innovators are, to put it mildly, not very nice? In the space of one episode?
*shrugs* It just doesn’t feel right.
I could be wrong, yes, but I’d like to see more than one Innovator have a crack at this ‘being human’ thing.

This is precisely what has been bothering me about the whole ‘lol Anew dies’ thing. Tieria will always be my baby, but aside from him, she really has the best shot at trying out this whole ‘Being human, loving humans’ thing, and I really want to see that. Tieria can’t be the only one with the capacity to go through the School of Hard Love.
She’s pretty much a totally tragic figure that’s made no mistakes. Revive and the Innovators are using her as a pawn to hurt CB, and even Lyle is being a fuck by not being honest with her about what he sees. Why kill her for the mistakes of other people? It serves no plot point, unless you’re trying to force Lyle down the ‘RAAAAAAAAAAAAAR REVENGE’ route, and hasn’t he already said he’s not interested in revenge? And haven’t we all agreed that’s healthy for him? Isn’t that need what killed Neil? With his own brothers’ death and Kataron’s injuries fresh in his mind– and we PRAISE him for not going off the handle about it– why would the director force him to pack down yet another tragic loss? He’s lost everything else.
It doesn’t fit.

I’m glad someone agrees with me. If she just left and died in two episodes it makes her whole character seem pointless. She’s the Innovator with a chance of redemption, part way in between Tieria and Fucking Ribbons and the Rainbow Squad.
She doesn’t deserve to be killed off, especially in such a pathetic way.

I’d say it’s more likely that Lyle will die than Anew, but we already have an Innovator left with a broken heart by a dead Dylandy. It’d be redundant.
And I tried to rationalize killing her by thinking to myself “Well, Louises’ family was pretty harmless too, but they killed -them- off” and then I realized that the whole POINT of offing Louises’ family was to drive Louise to ever greater extremes for revenge.
We already did that with Neil, too. Redundant redundancy.

I think she and Lyle should be given a chance at happiness. They both deserve it. Anew won’t age like he will, but I doubt he’d love her less for it

Neil didn’t inform CB about Tieria. Somehow I don’t think it’s going to be an issue, kind of like the whole ‘lulz i r spyan 4 kataron’ thing never did when we all expected it to.
